Rugzak Kanken 16L - FJALLRAVEN

I've had a brick one for almost 10 years now. It's starting to show that it's old but still loving it. Got an other forest green one a few years ago that also still looks great. The only bad thing is that it isn't as waterproof as I need it to be. If it rains heavily and I need to bike home (10-15 min) my items inside my bag are wet. It ruined a notebook, my planner but thankfully not my laptop. My laptop sleeve was also wet. So I love the bag, fits a lot and is pretty durable but heavy rain makes everything wet.

If I remember correctly I bought this bag in 2015 (now the end of 2023). I have the navy version, if you have a lighter version it may start to look dirty. Mine still looks great and I have been using it as my daily backpack throughout the last years of high school and all of university. I bought the wax block to refinish my bag every year so it stays nicely waterproof.

I was gifted this backpack several years ago, however over time a white film developed along the bottom. I treated the bag with the special wax, I washed it carefully, however nothing helped. The bag was really nice, however does not last very well given the price. For a company that encourages long use and repair of their products, I am dissapointed.
